Long Time

Its been quite some time since I last put up a post or did a bark in any of the blogs I normally visit. Man I must’v missed out on a lot of happenings. Reasons being, Had Exams, found a new Job and the usual work at home. So there were the usual procedures of resignation and starting with the new and of course drilling a hole in my stupid brain to pour in the subject material and the calculations because, I have this habbit of going completely blank in exams. Good thing it didn’t happen this time to a large extent. Phew!! Not to forget the daily chores at home and also providing security to my cousin’s at the moment building, upstair house.

Well that was what kept me occupied and OH!! My wretched PC gave trouble and was at repairs for more than a week. So it’s with a new Mother Board and won’t believe only recently installed Windows XP!! How pathetic is that???? All this time I was on Windows 2000. What a crime!!!! Anyheehaww, I may not be able to be posting regularly as I used to because the new work could be pretty demanding. I’m not in a hurry to stop posting as its quite a jolly feeling to be in the blogsphere.

Hope everyone’s keeping well and happy no matter what problems there may be. Let then off the mind, at least for a while. I’m telling ya people, its easier said than done, but believe me its worth it !! (hey, hey don’t forget to address the issues after you come down to planet earth from the blogsphere) Damn hard isn’t it, to tell yourself “everythings gonna be alright, everythings gonna be alright “ I dunno how Bob Marley manages to say it with such ease. Great song though “No Woman No Cry” yeah eyah….

I was going through a souvenir my father got from a sing-along session featuring the Gypsies and Mariazelle. It had the lyrics of all the old time Golden Chimes. Home on the Range, Country roads, a load of Jim Reeves Classics and of course my favorite Popular Sinhala songs (Lo Ada Nindey, Sanda Wata Ran Tharu, Sala Lihini Kowul etc….) and Baila. Must ‘v been awesome to sing along. I saw the tickets lying at home but did not pay much attention. Now only I realize these souvenirs were for that event. And here’s one of my all time favorites,

“Swing Lo Sweet chariot ……
Coming for to carry me Home……
Swing Lo Sweet chariot……..
Coming for to carry me Home………

I looked over Jordan and what did I see ……
Coming for to carry me Home……
A band of angels comin’ after me……..
Coming for to carry me Home………

If you get to heaven before I do ……
Coming for to carry me Home……
Just tell my friends I’m comin’ too……..
Coming for to carry me Home………”

Going to heaven ?? with friends ??????.... hmmm…..

monawa unath….

One more…. One more….. !!!!
